What is lead status?
Lead Status is a basic way to customize and organize your data. Selecting “Lead Statuses” from the “My Account” menu and “Customize” submenu will take you to the “Manage Lead Status” screen.
You can add, edit and delete statuses here. Salesgenie starts with 5 Lead Status settings:
Hot Lead: A prospect will soon become a customer
Warm Lead: A good prospect that is moving towards a Hot Lead and becoming a customer
Cold Lead: Unknown if this prospect represents a good opportunity to become a customer
Customer (Won): This consumer or business is an existing customer uploaded through Customer Data or has become a customer after being a Lead
- Dead Lead: There is little to no hope of this consumer or business becoming a customer
