How do I search by metro area?

A Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) is defined by the Federal Office of Management and Budget. MSAs contain a “core urban area of 50,000 or more population, as well as any adjacent counties that have a high degree of social and economic integration (as measured by commuting to work) with the urban core.”

Use the State selection to get a list of Metro Statistical Areas in that state. Click on the MSA to add it to the selected box. To add multiple Metro Areas in different states, choose the state from the drop down and add the desired Metro Area to the selection box.
