Click on the “Home Size ” criteria link under Housing Selections and a pop-up window will give you a number of options under the Home Size tab, including:
Home Size by Square Footage: Enter a starting square footage (minimum 500 square feet) in the “From” field and an ending square footage amount (maximum 30,000 square feet) in the “To” field to set a range of home sizes by square footage.
Home Size by Number of Bedrooms: Click the number of bedrooms, from 1 to 9, in the “Available” column to place that criteria in the “Selected” column. If you’re looking for home with 1-5 bedrooms, click on 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Presence of a Pool: Select “Yes” or “No” for homes with a pool.
Home Sale Price: Where “Home Sale Price” is available, you can select that information here. Click on Home Sale Price ranges under the “Available” column in $25,000 increments up to $199,999, and then $50,000 increments up to $400,000+ to place that range of sales prices in the “Selected” column.
Pro Tip: Home Sale Price is not the same as “Home Value”. “Home Sale Price” is the sale price of the house when it sold, whereas “Home Value” is the current estimated value of the home which may be more or less than the original Sale Price.
Home Equity Estimate: Where data is available for the estimated equity in a home, you can use that information here. Particularly useful for mortgage and refinance companies. Click on Home Equity Estimate ranges in $10,000 increments up to $99,999, then $25,000 increments up to $199,999, and finally $50,000 increments up to $400,000+
Second Property Indicator: Choose “Yes” or “No” to look for consumers with housing characteristics on a second property, not necessarily their primary residence.
