The Salesgenie Team package is designed to help managers quickly assign leads, track progress, and keep their sales team focused. This quick start guide walks you through the essentials: assigning leads, viewing reporting, and monitoring results.
Lead assignment
Lead assignment is the first step in putting Salesgenie Team to work. It ensures every rep knows exactly which prospects to focus on.
- Open your saved list and click on the “Lead Assignment” option
- You’ll see a list of users under your account
- Choose the type of distribution that works best for your team and enter the number of leads you want to assign
- Save your assignment to confirm
Salesgenie Team supports four types of lead distribution:
- Custom: Choose exactly how many leads go to each rep, giving you maximum control
- Fixed: Assigns a fixed number of leads equally across selected users
- Even: Splits all the leads in the list equally among selected users
- Single: Assigns leads one at a time, useful for highly targeted allocation



You can also assign leads individually from the record details page.

Once a lead is assigned, the assignee’s name will appear in the “Assignee” column for quick visibility.

Reporting and tracking
Once leads are distributed, Salesgenie Team makes tracking performance at both the list and user levels easy.
- List-level reports: Show how many leads in a saved list are assigned, unassigned, worked, or unworked
- User-level reports: Show how many leads each rep has worked, converted, or left untouched
Reports give you crucial insights into team productivity, pipeline progress, and conversion activity.
If you want to analyze results outside of Salesgenie, you can export reports into Excel for further review or sharing with leadership.


Assigned leads
Reps can quickly find the prospects assigned to them under the “Assigned Leads” tab. This view ensures every team member can easily access their own pipeline without distractions from unassigned leads.
