What is lead status?
Lead Status is a simple way to customize and organize your data in Salesgenie. It allows you to categorize prospects based on their stage in your sales process so you can focus on the right opportunities.
To manage lead statuses, go to Settings > My Account > Customize and select Lead Status. This will open the Manage Lead Status screen, where you can add, edit, delete, or reorder statuses to fit your process.
By default, Salesgenie provides the following Lead Status options:
- Hot Lead: A prospect who is very likely to become a customer soon
- Warm Lead: A promising prospect moving closer to becoming a Hot Lead
- Cold Lead: A prospect with uncertain potential — not yet qualified
- Dead Lead: A prospect with little or no potential to become a customer
You can use these statuses as they are, or tailor them to match how your team defines and tracks opportunities.
