Credit Score

The Credit Rating section displays the Credit Meter rating for the business from Credit.net, an InfoUSA company.

Note: Credit Rating Scores are indicators of a company’s probable ability to pay. They are based on a combination of business demographic factors, including:

  • Number of employees
  • Years in business
  • Industry stability
  • Bill-paying history
  • Barriers to entry
  • Government data

These ratings should be used primarily as a starting point in evaluating a business. They should not be the sole factor in making a credit decision. Before extending credit, you must obtain additional information from bank and trade references, local credit bureaus, or other trusted sources.

Salesgenie and Credit.net will not be liable for any losses resulting from the use of this information.

Contacts Tab

  • The Contacts tab lists executives and managers tied to the company.
  • Each executive includes available details such as Executive Name, Gender, and Title.
  • If an email address is available, a “Get Email Address” link will display under the contact’s name.

Nearby Tab

  • The Nearby tab shows businesses in the area, helping you identify local competitors and potential partners.
  • Competitors: A short list of businesses with similar SIC/industry classification, showing company name, city and state, phone number, SIC/industry classification, sales volume, and number of employees.
  • Businesses: Other local companies in the same geographic area, displayed with details such as company name, city and state, phone number, SIC/industry classification, sales volume, and number of employees.

Notes/Tasks Tab

The Notes/Tasks tab allows you to manage your prospecting activity. You can:

  • Add notes about the company.
  • Create tasks or reminders for follow-up.
  • Save your notes/tasks for ongoing tracking.

You’ll see a prompt to begin prospecting if no notes are saved.

Why It Matters

Combining all these elements helps you move from searching to understanding to acting. You can start with broad filters, drill into a single company, and immediately see:

  • Who the business is
  • What they do
  • Who runs it
  • How they spend
  • Who their competitors are
  • If they’re a strong credit prospect

All without leaving the Salesgenie platform.
