What business or geography filters are available?

Salesgenie gives you more than 60 filters to refine your searches and build precise prospect lists. Each time you apply a filter, it will be marked with a green check mark so you can track what’s been used. The filters are grouped into four broad categories:

Industry Selections

  • Choose from multiple ways to define a business’s industry:
    • Line of business
    • Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code
    • North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code
    • Major industry groups

Pro Tip: Use Primary SIC to search only by a business’s Primary Line of Business. This excludes any Secondary SIC Codes, making your results more focused.

Business Size

  • Narrow companies by size or capacity, including:
    • Employee size
    • Annual revenues (by company or location)
    • Office square footage
    • Business expenditures

Geography

  • Target businesses by location using any combination of:
    • State, metro area, and city
    • ZIP Code, radius, carrier route, and neighborhood
    • Street address
    • Area code or phone number (including partial phone numbers)

Pro Tip: If you select overlapping geography, Salesgenie counts each record only once. For example, if you choose Texas and also Dallas, Salesgenie uses the larger footprint (Texas) but ensures that businesses in Dallas are not counted twice.

Business Characteristics

  • Add more detail to your search by selecting from:
    • Company type (public, private, Fortune 1000, headquarters, branches, foreign parent)
    • Stock listings (NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, and more)
    • Executives (by name, title, gender, or ethnicity)
    • Operational details such as years in business, credit rating, contact options, emails, web addresses, and more.
