How can I search by homeowners/renters or housing type?
The Home Ownership filter, found under the Housing section, allows you to refine your consumer search by both homeowner/renter status and housing type.
Homeowners & Renters
You can choose from four options under the Home Ownership heading. Each option identifies whether the consumer owns or rents their residence.
- Renter: Confirmed renter, typically living in an apartment or Multi-Family Dwelling Unit (MFDU)
- Probable Homeowner: Determined using U.S. Census data indicating an owner-occupied area. Records with a unit number or identified by the U.S. Postal Service as a high-rise are excluded
- Confirmed Homeowner: Verified through county deed data and phone verification
- Unknown: Status cannot be determined

Housing Type
You can also filter consumers based on the type of housing they live in. These options generally match U.S. Postal Service data for each address.
Available housing types include:
- Multi-Family Dwelling (MFDU)
- Nursing Homes
- Retirement Homes
- Single Family Dwelling (SFDU)
- Trailer Court
- Unknown

To apply this filter:
- Click on any housing type in the Available column
- Move your selections into the Selected column to include them in your search
